It was a beautiful night for racing at the Charleston Speedway on Saturday night. 58 drivers were in attendance at the track. The Winged Late Models put on a show in their feature event. It was a special night at the Charleston Speedway on Saturday night. The UMP B-Mods raced in a $550 to win feature. The B-Mods put on a show. Everett Bradham, the defending track champion, took the early lead. Jacob Wilkinson, Ed Roley, and Deece Schwartz battled up front with Bradham. It was opening night on Saturday after two consecutive rain outs to start the season. It was a beautiful night for stock car racing as 86 drivers were in attendance. History was made at the Charleston Speedway on Saturday night as a woman became the first to win a feature in the Street Stock division and a Hornet driver had his first career wins. There were 104 cars in attendance. Megan Erwin started from the eighth position and worked her way up the field to become the first woman to claim a UMP Street feature win at the track.
