Inside Line Promotions – LUBBOCK, Texas (June 23, 2020) – Brenham Crouch is ready to take another step forward in his progression behind the wheel of a midget this weekend.
Crouch will drive for Keith Kunz Motorsports this Friday at Charleston Speedway in Charleston, Ill., and Saturday at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind., during a POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League doubleheader. It will mark his debut at both tracks.
“I’m beginning to feel more comfortable in the car,” Crouch said. “I need to focus on hitting my marks and being a little more aggressive. It’ll come with seat time.”
Crouch is coming off his career-best midget result of 15th during a POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League race at Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Mo., on June 13.
“I’ve always learned fast and I’m a visual learner,” he said. “A lot of it comes with watching other people. I’ll try to get behind a fast driver in hot laps and watch them. It took me a while to get used to the car. Now I have the confidence to push the car harder.”
Crouch, who has five career starts in a midget, said he wants to continue to build confidence and momentum this weekend.
“My main goal is to make the main events and move forward,” he said. “If we could get a top 10 out of this weekend that’d be the ultimate goal.”
