Hawkins Wins Hornet Special

A Hornet Special, an exciting Modified feature, a track qualifying record, and a great car count highlighted racing at Charleston Speedway on Saturday. Joshua Hawkins jumped out front and led the entire way to claim the $225 to win Hornet feature, presented by Geno's 24/7 Sewer and Drain Cleaning. Roley Wins Exciting B-Mod Feature

A nice cool evening and a great track made for some good races. Three of the features were won by a driver who did not lead every lap. The best finish of the night was in the B-Mod feature. Everett Bradham had led every lap until points leader Ed Roley made a pass to take the win. A big night of racing at the Charleston Speedway on Saturday evening saw some exciting races. It was a special night for the B-Mod division. The $700 to win B-Mod Freaky 40 feature, presented by Fencing Freaks, was won by Deece Schwartz. The driver from Ashmore led every lap. Four Drivers Clinch Points Championships

Four drivers clinched the season points championship at the Charleston Speedway on Saturday. The most intriguing race of the evening was in the Winged Late Model division. Erwin, Kerst Big Winners at UMP Fall Nationals

For the 7th year in a row, the Charleston Speedway played host to the UMP Dirt Car Fall Nationals in the Stock Car division. The track also hosted the Factory Stock Fall Nationals for the first time. Joining the two classes for racing on Saturday night were Hornets and Charleston Limited Late Models. A late afternoon drizzle was not going to deter the night of racing. We are beyond excited for the 2021 racing season. 2020 was a very interesting season to say the least. We have the best fans, the best drivers, the best car owners, the best crew members and the best workers a facility could ask for!
