Reed Wins First Ever Modified Feature

Two drivers won their first ever feature races at the Charleston Speedway on Saturday night. Sixty three drivers were in attendance. It was a special night at the Charleston Speedway as there was a Neal Tire $700 to win feature for the Modifieds. History was made during the race as the Schwartz family became the first to have three generations win a feature event in the same season. Thirty Modifieds were on hand for the main event. After two consecutive rain outs, the Charleston Speedway was back in action on Saturday night. It was a hot night and storms threatened to come in from the northeast, but held off. It was a special night at the Charleston Speedway on Saturday night. The UMP B-Mods raced in a $550 to win feature. The B-Mods put on a show. Everett Bradham, the defending track champion, took the early lead. Jacob Wilkinson, Ed Roley, and Deece Schwartz battled up front with Bradham. It was opening night on Saturday after two consecutive rain outs to start the season. It was a beautiful night for stock car racing as 86 drivers were in attendance. Megan Erwin Makes History With Feature Win
